Why LeadWell?
Most jobs need years of training and experience to do well, yet plenty of workplaces try to create effective people managers overnight. This often means a big gap between intent and impact.
LeadWell teaches the foundational skills of effective and inclusive leadership through the four pillars of our framework.
Practicing self-awareness, emotional intelligence and stress management.
Recognising power, privilege and the dynamics of human interaction.
Integrating different worldviews and acknowledging their impact on belonging and inclusion.
Facilitating collective intelligence, collective responsibility and decision making.

FAQ
This is far more common than you’d think. You feel like you need to get your ducks in a row, get your budget approved, get everything to line up before making contact. You need none of these and generally you’ll never feel ready.
To have an initial conversation about working together, all you need is curiosity and interest.
Make a time to have an initial chat and we’ll talk about readiness.
You know there’s a need for leadership development but you have limited support and there was a program you’ve already done that didn’t meet your needs, you’ve got a new CEO that doesn’t understand your organisation, or it’s the start of a really busy time for your team… All of these are more of the same of this elusive concept of ‘ready’.
I have a good idea of what organisations are and aren’t ready for doing the kind of work I do. Chances are, if you’re still reading this, you’ve got something you know is worth exploring.
Trust that. Let’s talk.
It has been designed for emerging leaders, people transitioning from being an individual contributor to having direct reports or on that track. However, many participants have said they believe their execs and C-suite folks would do well to learn about the content in LeadWell, particularly the pillar on power and privilege. This program supports people to develop inclusive leadership skills. These are relevant at any level, also because leadership occurs at every level.
Absolutely! If your organisation is flat or aims for a flatter structure, you’ll get significant benefit from this program.
Even flat structured organisations have issues relating to status and rank, perceived or real. Where relevant, I can add a workshop on “Power Sharing in Flat Structured Organisations” and bring my experience with flat structures.
Cynicism is thwarted passion, we can talk about ways to tap into that passion and turn it around. It just means they are disempowered and probably have been for a long time. They might even have become identified with this mindset, but it stems from a part of them that cares and I believe it’s possible to connect to that in the right environment.
It’s important that everyone is there by choice and where this is a concern, I will make space for everyone to make an authentic and empowered choice to be there or not.
You’re in good company, this is a common experience across all industries. The LeadWell Program could be a way to support retention by signaling to your team that you care and are investing in their future.
One of the big features that shows up in our feedback is how much people enjoy having these conversations with each other and learning from their colleagues experiences, realising they are not alone. The LeadWell program takes a whole human approach and works at the nexus of personal and professional development while staying in the realm of what’s appropriate at work.
So far the program has only been run within organisations. There are plans to run a program that is open to the public, get in touch with me to find out where this is up to.
