Client: A new and emerging organisation dedicated to supporting LGBTQIA+ communities to connect with nature with a government grant to build capacity and develop foundational documents. 

Project Aim: To co-design and deliver foundational documents such as a mission, vision and manifesto, plus a basic strategic/operational plan. 

Tathra’s Role: Gathered stories from community members to unearth the essence of the group and facilitate discussions to inform the foundational documents. To draw on decades of experience with grassroots groups and seed the ground for the future of the organisation. 

Added Elements: Using co-design and collaborative technology, the documents were developed as a group and weave together a group wisdom about the queerness of nature. An emerging narrative that challenges the heteronormative lens on nature gave shape to this identity of the group as well as the individuals involved.
